A server is born
A Storm Rising was created to cater to as many play styles as possible while keeping the game challenging and rewarding to all. In order to do this, we have a minimum unique rule set in place like no other and we keep it simple. We strive to make the server feel as realistic and natural as we can. We do this by creating a in-game currency system, encourage in game communications and creating gameplay dynamics that encourage player interactions. Also, all custom builds are built with realism in mind and tested before inserted. The builds also have to look and feel natural before inserted and are exclusive to the SR server.
We put emphasis on value. We strive to emphasize time and loot as the two top valuable things. Therefore, there is no unlimited stamina, no cars fully built, no LAR's falling from the sky and no tripping over any particular loot item on this server. You have to get out there and grind. If brave enough, head south for great loot and some incredible new areas not seen on ANY other Livonia server in the world.
The rule set and server layout truly let you play DayZ how YOU want. Play DayZ pure PVE style while staying in the north. Build the base of your dreams without worrying about being raided or killed on sight. Play DayZ hardcore with virtually no rules by heading south of the river. Full on DayZ with KOS allowed, 24/7 base raiding allowed and enjoy some of the coolest and amazing builds you will ever see all while getting high tier loot not found in the north.
